Description
Another fabulous introduction
from William Radler, the famous
breeder of the award winning
Knock Out®. Clear yellow
blooms appear in abundant
clusters from April to October.
These non-fading blooms survive
even the hottest of summers.
Exceptional disease resistance
makes this one virtually maintenance
free. Light fragrance. The
best yellow shrub rose to
be introduced so far and one
you won't want to be without!
Mature
Size: 4-5'
H x 4-5' W
Culture
Soil: Prefers well-drained
soil.
Light: Full sun, or morning
sun with afternoon shade.
Morning sun is a must for
roses as they like the morning
dew to be dried from their
leaves by the sun.
Moisture Needs: Low once
established.
Hardiness:
USDA Zones 5 to 9.
Usage
Plant this rose in mass or
small groups, as a hedge or
border, or as a single specimen
in the perennial garden. May
also be grown in containers
so long as the soil mix is
well-drained.
Outstanding Features
The clear, lemon-yellow flowers
in abundant clusters light
up the garden and are produced
in abundance from April to
frost.
Planting
- Plant this shrub rose as
you would most other shrubs.
Dig the hole two to three
times the width and no deeper
than the rootball. Mix in
a good soil ammendment such
as Claycutter or Mushroom
Compost at a 50/50 ratio with
the soil removed from hole.
Place rootball in hole making
sure that top edge of the
rootball is 1 to 2" above
ground level. Backfill with
soil mixture to top edge of
rootball tapering the mix
gradually to ground level.

and a diagram see Planting
A Shrub.
Pruning
- Though
not necessary, we prune back
most shrub roses to about
18 to 24 inches in height
in late February. Pruning
during the blooming season
is not necessary with this
rose.
Fertilization
- Begin fertilization
in Spring when new growth
begins to emerge. Fertilize
every 6-8 weeks with a good
bloom boosting fertilizer
such as Colorburst or Fertilome
Rose Food containing Sytemic
Insecticide.
